        “All warfare is based on deception." - Sun Tzu

         这是全书开篇的一句话，是《孙子兵法》中的名句：兵者，诡道也。从古至今，间谍战，谍报战，策反等一系列的伎俩都是战争中必有的手段：肮脏，危险却有效。美国人也读《孙子》，知道所谓”用兵之道，变化万千“，因而在其反恐战争中，晓得利用双重间谍，来挖掘锁定的目标，以致给予打击。

         但是，美国人忽略了这句话后面，仍然有这么几句：

         故能而示之不能....利而诱之，乱而取之....亲而离之。

         其实从故事的一开始，我们就能清楚的看到，美国反恐战争在911后将近10年的时间里，是多么的急切盼望狙杀基地组织的恐怖头目：阿玛西里，穆萨德，扎瓦赫里，甚至本拉登。我想在奥巴马上台后宣布的阿富汗撤军，能够给到美国中情局，FBI, NSA这些情报部门足够的推力，让他们在反恐行动上更加具有侵略性，说不好听的，急功近利。

         海登下帕内塔上，waterboard这些布什期间的审讯手法受到严厉批评，以及总统的下令，无不让反恐部门感到急切的压力。正是在这种压力之下，美国情报部门才会犯下一些基本的情报错误，正如事发后批评者所说的：..basic rules of spycraft, including time-honored procedures for assessing and running informants and double agents, had been all but forgotten. 时间验证一切的经验，早已被抛诸脑后，短期内获得进展才是唯一途径。

         从个人来说，美情报部门的内部环境也时刻给予其工作人员无名的压力，比如Khost新上任的主管Matthews，首先作为一名女性，在以男性为主的情报机构中，就会受到莫名的歧视；其次，差点因为经验不足而被否决的上任，也促使其施行更加大胆直接的情报获取计划。

          不过，正如最后批评者们所说的，没有任何个人应该为此事件负责，因为从911前开始，美国政府各级部门已经习惯了对明显的警告和问题，做出漠视的态度。

         从美国情报部门的错误来看，似乎事故的原因不明而喻。不过，我认为基地组织能给美国人一次沉重打击的原因，更在于其”道“的“正确“。

         巴拉维为何成为反美激进人士？因为他在以前就亲眼目睹美军战机错杀平民的惨剧，亲手为受伤平民治疗，在这个过程中，伊斯兰世界的“道”更能为基地组织的行为正名，而同时显得美国人的行动为“不义”之举。更不用说，美国使用无人战机进行轰炸以求杀死基地组织人员这种行为，进一步塑造了自身“不遵道义”而战的形象。我记得在《高达W》里，OZ后期联合财团开发无人机进行作战，引发了人们的不齿；甚至其领导人托里斯都认为“使用无人机是对拼死战斗的战士的侮辱”。

         正是基于对美国“不义”行为的反抗，基地组织才会有如此的信心，能招揽到一批一批的人弹为其“正道”的实现牺牲自己的生命。穆萨德在一次美军轰炸行动中生还，其司机为其掩护而死亡，在外人看来这是对生命的浪费。但穆萨德说：每一次美军导弹在巴基斯坦的坠落，都像一张张招募海报，招募更多愤怒的年轻人加入他们，“每一次无人机攻击，都能为我们带来3到4个自杀人弹。”穆萨德说到。

         狡猾抑或聪明？总之基地组织清楚看到美国人对于铲除自己的急切心理，那么利用这一点，对美国人造成打击就不是什么难事了。这也是为何我在前文提到，美国人读孙子，看到了“兵者诡道也”这样的先手，却没有看到“利而诱之，乱而取之”这样的后手。“将欲取之，必先予之”，既然你美国人如此希望得到我们头目的信息，那就让一个忠诚的年轻人为你们提供你们想看到的情报吧。

         本拉登虽然死了，但正如帕内塔自己说的：战斗还没结束，还会有一个接一个的阿尔盖达一号人物不断出现，还会有对美国的攻击，可能是更具威胁性的。美国人高估了自己的“战争之道”，低估了他们的敌人的反间谍的实力，更重要的是，低估了他们对于自己“道义”的信仰以及坚持。
